Friday, December 31, 2010 - New Years Eve Cabernet and Dom Blowout (Our House (2033 Brandywine St., Philadelphia)): Terrific. Showing aged character, but gracefully. Toasted bread, nutty caramel on the nose but also green and red apple. Palate has smoothed out. Caramel and nut covered apples. Fresh. Toasted bread and sweet baking spices. Shade oxidized. Finished very strong. Most surprised by the fresh ripe fruit. Definitely many years ahead of this one.
