Friday, July 4, 2014 - Back half of a 4th of July Virtual Tasting. Color is advanced and fully bricked. Nose is heavy on cedar and leather with dark cherry and red raspberry fruit. Tart raspberry and strawberry combined with big acid and grippy tannin. This reminds me a lot of some aged Ravenswood Zinfandel I have had recently. The nose, the tart raspberry. Been open 6 hours. Will revisit with dinner in another hour or so.
