Friday, December 25, 2009 - Paid $42 for this at a very nice restaurant in Boise at Christmas dinner. I had it with roast loin of lamb with spinach, polenta and red wine reduction. My daughter had it with roast duck. The color was a light ruby red and it was sparkling clear. It was fruity and light on the nose and palate - went very well with both meals. A very nice wine - but, Lord! I hate to pay restaurant prices for wine. I would gladly pay $20 or thereabouts to have a couple bottles in my cellar.
