Monday, October 18, 2004 - Winemakers Charles et Francois Tardy have a winner with this simple but well made wine. Originally rather tannic and somewhat astringent when tasted a couple of years ago, this is now a meaty, fairly well balanced wine with smoke, dried cranberry, bacon and mineral notes. 12.5% alc. Forgot the pairing. 10/04.
