Friday, March 16, 2018 - The score may be too low. I was absolutely stunned by this wine. Too young but drinking well. Classic Burgundian nose with smoke, meat and terroir just beautiful. Beautiful color with no sign of age at the rim. Sensual structured legs. Aromas of cherries and black fruit. Structured, balanced with well integrated tannins and just the right amount of acidity. Soft and mellow on the palate almost thin at first but evolved and put on some weight. Balanced and structured on the palate which for me means it was elegant throughout and there wasn't an attack followed by a mid palate followed by a simple finish. This was satin from the tip of the tongue to the elegant and lengthy finish. This bottle is and should be sought after with much age remaining.
