Tuesday, July 15, 2014 - Still REALLY new to the world of Burgundy. The more I enter that world the more I get hooked. The smokiness, elegance of this wine is great. Black and red fruit with the earthiness I adore in wine. Some mint and menthol but pleasing. Medium legs and tears. Beautiful initial attack of cherries and bright acidity with a dryness crying for a beautiful hanger steak. Still young but approachable. Well balanced with a bright future.
