Monday, December 31, 2018 - The second of three wines this evening to celebrate the coming New Year. For a good price of the wine list in Belgium. This was even better than I hoped for...Amazing wine which kept on surprising me in 2,5 hours time. Jancis Robinson writes "A blind tasting of everyone’s Échezeaux would be interesting...!" and I agree with her. Label drinkers will maybe score lower seeing it is "just" Lamarche, but I am very impressed with this wine. Should have been decanted though seeing the last glass was the best!
