Saturday, January 5, 2013 - The amount of aromatic complexity can set you motionless. There's anise, blackberry, broiled chicken, nutmeg and smoke, then showing thyme and dark berry on the palate, which shows round and polished tannins. A striking and level vanguard, then every floor of your palate is exposed to a legendary, balanced Syrah. Renaissance is really epic this vintage, with the '09 (95 points) being a different animal. Concentrated and a violet, black colour. Magnetic, iridescent and scrumptious. Ripe and the terroir is shining. The vibes are showing more age and sagacity. Drink 2017 - 2037
