Tuesday, March 19, 2013 - Pale straw color with frizzante in the glass. Aromatic nose of tropical fruit, citrus, a bit of fresh cut grass and herbs. On the palate the wine showed primarily tangy grapefruit flavors with a bit of melon. Strong acidity made this wine feel slightly sharp on the palate but it finished well. Versatile food pairing wine. Ehlers makes one of my favorite Cali sauvignon blancs each year and this was no exception.
