Sunday, January 8, 2023 - (NB: Actually a 2012) I remember my first try of La Crau as disappointingly lightweight but this bottle was a very solid outing that met expectations.

Not much of an aroma, even when warmed to full room temp overnight, but the flavor and body are pretty big and the finish good. Powerful black fruits, cinnamon and cloves, dark chocolate and tar - a Christmas cake maker driving an asphalt truck. Medium acid and soft tannins - not flabby at all.
