Beautiful wine, well aged and at a good time. Maybe needs some decanting but we didn't decant. Well rounded, silky and smooth with lots of fruit, earth and some leather. Open on the nose straight from the bottle and for sure will keep you smiling for a long time.

If you like VT also try 1995 (and if you are very lucky the 1978). Both 95&98 are great value wines at a great time in their life.
