Saturday, February 8, 2014 - Popped and poured. This is a medium cherry red with some modest sediment, particularly toward the end of the bottle. On the nose, there is garrigue, cherry, and some stony overtones. In the mouth, there is moderate fruit – less than I would like – with decent acid and structure. The wine finishes with lingering smoothness. Overall, this is a nice CdP that may be slightly over the hill; I found it much better with food than on a standalone basis. 91 points.
