Tuesday, February 25, 2014 - Ruby red with slight bricking. The wine opens up in the glass with aromas of red berries, licorice, provencal herbs, incense and soy sauce. A medium bodied palate reveals silky smooth red raspberry liquer, forest floor and a lovely umami/savory component to the long and spherical finish. All the components in the wine are perfectly balanced. Nice.
