Saturday, October 24, 2020 - Nose had some funk at first. Blew off after 30 minutes or so. Rich tart cherry, raspberry fruit. Definite herbs de Provence, garrigue, clean line of acidity. The wine is rich and savory. You could sip this all night and be very happy. Drink now or leave for a few more years. The tannins will keep this going for awhile longer. I have two more of the ‘98s and am looking forward to enjoying them.
