Monday, April 25, 2016 - Some what tannic when first opened but smoothed out over the next hour.
Would recommend an hour decant.
Still purple to the rim with just a hint of dark fruits on the nose. Rich full bodied with a silky mouthfeel and huge fruit. Fills the mount and finishes long.
Looks to be at the start of many years of wonderfully drinking.
My best wine of the year so far.
