Saturday, July 5, 2014 - With grilled New York strip steak, crispy salt & vinegar potatoes, and sautéed pea pods.
Crimson, almost purple, dark and almost (but not quite) opaque.
Dark plum nose with a touch of black pepper, earthy.
Dry, moderate tannin, a touch of acid, medium body (almost hearty). This wine was not at all afraid of the steak. Not a light/bright Zin, almost like a big Syrah.
