Friday, April 12, 1991 - With MPL and BLR at S&F survey of '85 Cabs. Good red ruby color. Nose is minty, but also weedy, and strangely herbal. Real "off element." Smells like petroleum jelly. On the palate, there's fruit, good concentration and nice body . . . but the nose is too much of a distraction. I would not buy this one. 5-8-13-4: 80/100.
