Medium body, sweet cherry, blackberry and oak on the palate, decent balance, moderate tannins and a bit of alcohol poke through on the back palate, medium finish. Not complex or mind-blowing but a nice QPR at $12, and the sweet fruit would probably be a crowd pleaser for most groups, reminiscent of an inexpensive by-the-glass selection. Will likely hold up nicely for 3-5 years. Very good.
