Friday, July 8, 2016 - Opaque purple ink.
Powerful nose, black fruits, violets, dried fruit, wet stone, moss, hint of oak, barn, compost and forest floor.
Med + mouthfeel and tannins, dried fruits, jam, gobs of black berries, hint of herbacious notes. Approachable and balanced. Youthful, has miles to go.
Another excellent Carlisle effort.
