Saturday, October 25, 2014 - What a difference a year makes! Though not nearly ready this young wine is evolving. The nose now reveals more ripe fruit and new floral notes. The tannins of a year ago are rounder and the sweet red fruits are more apparent. The bright acidity complements the rich fruit and supports the long grippy finish. Overall, very fine balance for so young a wine. Fairly stylish now but it will be really something in a half dozen or so years. 92+ points.
