Friday, June 1, 2012 - Drank several weeks ago on the annual golf trip and no formal notes taken. But from memory, distinctive funk, mineral, red cabbage nose with familiar rainer cherries notes. But the exotic spices were what really caught my attention, just a melange of asia, indian and baking spices that wouldn't quite. A noticable wood note but a very pretty floral accent to the wine that added another layer of complexity. Was really impressed with this as I had some pretty high expectations that were completely meet by myself and friends.
