Thursday, November 22, 2012 - Opened at noon and into the decanter. A bit of brett on the nose. The color is purple and garnet. Animal and game notes with deep blackberries and mineral. Funk blows off after an hour and a wine of singular character comes out. The palate has great acid and minerality to accompany the dark fruit.
