Tuesday, July 3, 2007 - Served in a Riedel Chard glass (I dont have any riesling glasses as I am just getting into this grape). The color is a very light yellow and it was clear all the way through. The nose was of apricot and honeysuckle. On this palate this wine was very sweet, crisp and firm and has high acidity which all plays pretty well together. The flavors I get are honey, apricot and pineapple. The finish is very impressive (but I don't have much Riesling knowledge to compare it to).

I am glad I bought this wine for under $9 to try it out in the hot summer. I will be picking up another bottle to take to a pool party for the 4th. I would say this is a very good QPR and would be great with some spicy chili or some thai food. (86-88)
