Friday, August 25, 2017 - Served blind. Medium nose of bright red cherry and cranberry with some earth tones and a bit of reduction. Very structured and lean on the palate. Crunchy red cherry, cranberry with earth and tobacco tones. Surprised to see this was an 09. Not ripe at all and quite lean. That's Pommard, I guess. This has upside with 10+ years of cellar age.
