Monday, September 3, 2012 - Decanted about 3 hours from reading the notes on Cellar Tracker. This was a little tight upon opening but really opened up and smoothed out over the danting period. Blackberry, cherry and light red fruit with hints of cocoa and and a little earth. If you like the fruity Oregon Pinot's, this isn't it. Bold and earthy, this SC is still very young but will be a classic KB Pinot in a few years.
