Tasted side-by-side an 88 Beaucastel Blanc and the Beaucastel was better on this night, although with time in the glass, and especially the next day, this wine was more expressive. Deeper golden color. Honey, flowers and some waxy fruit. Not as full or concentrated as you would think based on the viscous texture.
