Saturday, November 22, 2014 - Decanted. Golden, honeyed color- so much darker in the decanter than the other two that I worried it might be oxidized. One whiff and all worries melted away. Notes of apricot, marmalade, and stone give way to white peach, orchard fruit and florals...the viognier really shines through. Rich texture, with flavors of stone fruit, wax and wet stone. Lengthy finish. 92-93 pts.
