Sunday, April 5, 2009 - Notes of earth, leather, cedar. Fruit was somewhat muted but complex, coming over the palate in waves giving way to a long velvety finish. Paired great with grilled filets with hickory-molasses rub. Decanted 45 minutes, wine definitely opened up after another hour or so.
