Sunday, November 20, 2022 - The cork slid into the bottle but the wine was still excellent. This is elegance personified and my favorite Cos , even more than the 90. Loamy and earthy nose tinged with tobacco gives way to a still remarkably silky and elegant mouth feel yet backed by a nice acid backbone. Dark fruit predominates but a teasing raspberry note appeared after four hours opened and decanted. The sweet fruit finish is subtle but lasts 30 seconds. Love this wine. I bought it in the mid 90s from a wine store going out of business so the providence before I stored it in my cellar is unknown.
