Sunday, May 21, 2023 - Second of three bottles, this was not quite matching the previous one, but some variation is to be expected with older wines. Cherry and tobacco are aromatic on the nose with additional menthol notes. Secondary characteristics have developed on the palate with tertiary hints. Showing good depth and balance, this bottle was showing harsher tannic notes as previously. That said, it is highly recommended, and relatively good value for money.
