Monday, February 15, 2010 - Drank this side by side with a 1984 Insignia from Joseph Phelps. Great pairing. The Cos was big on the nose with a strong classic bell pepper nose. On the palate, it was tough but with a lot of black berry left. Over the course of an evening the wine mellowed and lost some of its hardness, whilst retaining a fprmidable structure. Still drinkng well, but at the end of its plateau.
