Tuesday, June 22, 2010 - Tasted as part of Cos d'Estournel vertical with Cincinnati Mondiale du Vin ('82, '85, '96, '00, '05). This wine was alot like the '82, but less so. Brick tinted color. Nose of black cherry and tobacco. Medium palate of blackberry, licorice. Excellent length. Pleasant acidity. Tannins much less in evidence than in the '82. Smooth and silky.
