Wednesday, April 13, 2011 - Drank this alongside a Mouton '97. Dark garnet red with slight mahogany tinge, just started to show its age. Beautiful nose, showing leather, cassis, dark fruit and cedar. Subtle and smooth on palate, with tobacco, leather and dark fruits. It has nice balance and good acidity. Long finish and fine tannins. Drinking at its peak now and this elegant wines stood well against the Mouton '97.
