Saturday, May 3, 2003 - Wine tasting. Big black fruit on nose and palate. Fruit flavors seem somewhat obscured today by the wine's big and burly tannins, which give a harshness on the finish, almost a sense of bitterness. Perhaps this just needs time, I'd give any more bottles until 2010 or later.
