Friday, February 18, 2005 - Popped and poured. Bright ruby with some bricking on the edge. Nose of minerals, lead pencil, and red berries. Medium bodied with minerals and cassis on the palate. Fully resolved tannins but still some nice structure. Purchased on release. 6th and last bottle. This wine always drank well. Slipping? Maybe, but still a nice wine IMO.
