Friday, November 6, 2015 - Cos d'Estournel vertical - Check in on some recent vintages; 8/1/2016-9/3/2016: At a tasting: Bordeaux 1985 at age 30. Medium dark garnet. Nose of dark fruit, dense with mint, tobacco and earth, spicy. Great presence on the palate but tannins not as soft as in a recent sample.
