Sunday, July 19, 2020 - I guessed St Estephe from 1988 - close, but still - this is is a wonderful example of a classical Bordeaux-wine, vertical, manly, dry, yet plenty of fruit left here. Tannins seems fully integrated, it's drinking a point now - probably in the late part of the drinking window. Tobacco, lead pencil, black berries galore - a wine from the Old World. Thanks, HSA, for bringing this.
