Saturday, May 29, 2021 - Disappointment of the night, didn't live up to the expectations. The wine didn't have the complexity, finesse and incredible fragrance I tasted in another vintage. Not a bad wine but just underwhelming. On the nose, loads of eucalyptus/menthol and not much else. On the palate, dense but it felt somewhat heavy and clumsy and fruit was gone. This wine felt muted...at nearly 36 years of age.
