Thursday, March 12, 2009 - Cos Vertical @ St Johns- slight lightening around the edges but holding good color to the middle, some sweet dark fruits on the nose with a bit of tar/smoke. very well balanced in the mouth, medium weight still and long finish. i liked this and i thought wine was at a very good place, still showing some nice dark fruit flavor and also nice secondary notes. i think this wine will be good for awhile yet
