Sunday, August 7, 2022 - Nose: Elegant perfumed nose of graphite, tobacco, cherry, plum, cocoa and loamy earth. Just a bit of a cherry tobacco element and bits of vegetal notes at the edges.

Palate: This is a regal wine on the palate that shows its breeding. Silky palate feel with just a bit of tannin. Plum, loamy earth, graphite and pencil notes. Tobacco, vegetable garden and so much complexity.

Finish: There is a surprising amount of tannin that grips your lower gums as this finishes. Great stuffing for the tertiary phases of this wine's life.

This is my 2,000th note on cellartracker and a mighty fine wine to pluck from the cellar for the occasion.
