Sunday, July 15, 1990 - At home. Medium dark ruby. Fine color. Good depth. Nose shows loads of fruit. Concentrated. Actually smells of merlot. Absolutely fabulous palate, very, very complex and concentrated, with just layers and layers of flavors. Gorgeous blackberry fruit. Long and lasting. A very nice wine. Lives up to its reputation. 5-11-17-8: 91/100.
