Saturday, February 29, 1992 - At home at dinner with K, Miranda, Cynthia, Steve, Kay, Laird, and Jack (roast). Gorgeous very dark ruby color. Complex nose of dark chocolate and roast coffee. Very feminine and "Bordeaux"-like, initially especially. Pretty wine on the palate, still with some bitter tannin in the finish, but has definitely come around and is nearing its peak of drinkability. Fine wine. 5-11-16-8: 90/100.
