This is way too far outside my wheelhouse for me to judge fairly, I suppose, but to me this tastes like very nice fruit that is completely ruined by oak. There are far worse oak offenders out there of course, but I can't understand this as a desirable style of wine. What is more, the need for all those new barrels just adds to the already stoopid pricing on these types of wines. I wish Anomaly was a Cali Cab anomaly, but sadly it's not. Also, it completely failed to bring the 49ers luck.
