Saturday, May 27, 2023 - We decanted this at the restaurant about 30 min. prior to the main course. The initial impression was of muted nose and palate. When we poured with the main course it was starting to open nicely. By the end of the bottle it was delicious with a complex nose and palate of cassis, dark cherry, spices and slight unsmoked tobacco nicely balanced with light acidity and structured mouthfeel. The finish was also delicious but only of medium length.
