Tuesday, August 27, 2019 - Charming and rounded Chianti Classico. Spiced plum and raisin on the nose. Rich and smooth dark stewed fruit on the palette. Not many abundant secondary flavours, as they are overpowered by the hot, Amarone-style, piquant finish from the alcohol. Shown as 13.5% but I'd wager a tad more from the chunky legs. Either way this is a lovely, inexpensive wine in a good place.
