Monday, March 18, 2013 - This is unmistakably california pinot, but is also strikingly pure in is fruit expression. Plush aromas of ripe red berries, perfumed flowers, lavender, and spice. There is a similar profile on the palate initially, with fresh but ripe mixed berries, with bramble and anise. The invigorating finish turns more tart, adding juicy cranberries, orange peel, and fennel seed. Well made and very good in the context of california pinot. R&M88
