Wednesday, October 12, 2005 - A gem in the rough. This has already shown substantial development from its sappier performance last year and is now likely as good as it's ever going to be. The exquisite balance remains the same except it's even more supple and alluring in texture, now virtually resolved of its tannin. Though light and lacy, it's quite savory, and this is a benchmark for Pinot Noir from the humbler appellations.
