Tuesday, August 31, 2021 - Medium ruby sliding toward deep ruby, pomegranate, truffle, powdered cherry, star anise, spice, and hints of stem on the nose, primary cherry driven fruit on the palate with hints of earth, soft tannins, medium plus acidity and driving mineralality, finishes with red berry fruit, a little beef steak, cherry, chalk and more
Note: good now but undoubtedly a long life ahead, my tn could have easily waxed on about the quality of the '10 vintage, how Bize is a super bargain, how I would love the chance to put this Savigny-lès-Beaune in a blind tasting with the biggies, but the reality is, if you don't already have this wine in your cellar, you're late to the party.
