Saturday, January 13, 2024 - Perhaps a few years past it’s peak this wine opened up nicely on the nose but seemed somewhat muted on the palate. I enjoyed the dark fruit notes but couldn’t really get much in terms of savory or earthy notes from this wine. Enjoyable but not particularly memorable. I thought I detected some VA here early but it faded. Maybe a bad bottle? Drink up now! Overall: 89
