Thursday, January 16, 2014 - Starts off with something a little chocolatey but breathes up to be very Pauillac (whatever the fuck that is). There's some briary fruit, black earth, smoked meats, tobacco and cedar. It is in a nice place with nice proportion and balance . There's strength to the wine despite the fact that structutal elements have obviously softened. It gets better and better in the glass.
